A Letter of Agreement (“LOA”) has been signed between between NumericMind and Kathmandu University School of Science effective from 4th February 2024 for three years. The agreement was signed in the premises of Kathmandu University between Prof. Dr. Janardan Lamichhane, the Dean of School of Science of Kathmandu University and Dr. Hemanta Shrestha, the CEO of NumericMind. The agreement ceremony was witnessed by Prof Dr. Ujjwal Man Joshi , Associate Dean of School of Science, Prof. Dr. Rabindra Kayastha, Head of the Department of Mathematics, Prof. Subodh Kumar Upadhyaya, Head of Department of Biotechnology and team members from NumericMind.

The agreement was made for the purpose of providing the Internship Program, Training on software packages, Semester Project topic assignment and project co-supervision for the undergraduate and graduate level students to gain valuable applied experience and make connections in professional fields they are considering for career paths. The agreement has been made to bolster the capabilities of students of Computational Mathematics, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology and Computer Science to integrate the knowledge and theory learned in the classroom with practical application and skills development in a professional setting.
